David Wright

David has 20 years’ experience working in Barristers Chambers, specialising in the delivery of professional services and business development.  Admired for his honest and trustworthy approach, the Legal 500 describe him as “very Commercial” and someone who “deals with issues quickly and sensitively”. He has a passion for leadership and development which originated from his career as a Barristers Clerk, and role as Vice-Chair to the IBC Career Development Committee. His skills are reinforced by his academic achievements in developing effective performers at work, communication skills, business management and marketing.


If David is not working, or studying, he can usually be found unwinding in the great outdoors, whether it’s snowboarding, hiking, playing golf or on an expedition with his scout group. David is a great believer in helping people to achieve a good work-life balance, he has written an article for Counsel Magazine promoting well-being in Chambers, the business benefits, sources of help and how to reach high-performance.
